Tilley's Welcome Home Farm & Guesthouse is a two story + basement 4500 square foot home overlooking the Pend Oreille River. Hosts Joe & Jane live in the basement of the home. The rental area sleeps up to twelve people comfortably (6 queen size beds, 2 per bed). It is a traditional cape cod farm style home. The main first floor includes living, dining, kitchen, sitting room plus one bedroom and bath. Upstairs are three more bedrooms and a large bathroom with a claw foot tub and a shower stall. Both bathrooms have nice tubs and separate showers. The main floor has an additional 300 sf room adjacent to the kitchen & dining area which serves as the perfect area to prep meals for your group to eat in the dining room that overlooks the Pend Oreille River. One bedroom has a personal balcony and three rooms have window seats. The property is 10 acres and is a mix of forest and field. It has a 3700 sf barn and there are walking trails for all guests. Strong Creek runs the length of the property all year long and fills a nice pond, spring through fall, under the giant cedar trees. As owners, we reside in our own private quarters in the basement, separate from the home space, but we are available for support via the cell phone numbers given during reservation and check-in. We raise a small bird flock with ducks, geese, chickens, and a rooster which you can see and sometimes hear in the distance. The birds free range, usually away from the home, yard and pond, but occasionally escape to the guest area. We have two dogs who help us with our farm chores. The golden dog is quite friendly; the black dog is shy. Tilley's Welcome Home Farm & Guesthouse has a long history in Priest River. It was one of the original dairy farms in town and you can see that historic feeling has been preserved in the hardwood floors, dark wood wrapped windows and farm décor. The beautiful community of Priest River, Idaho sits at the confluence of two pristine rivers located 7 miles east of the Washington border and 75 miles south of the Canadian border.
