Right across the street from the Mineral Belt Trail and a couple minutes from main street, the Copper Top Cottage Loft is where you want to be! With elements of Leadville's history and a sleek modern design, this home is perfect for 1-2 people looking to stay in a clean new home. At High Rocky Homes, we take cleanliness very seriously. All homes are deep cleaned with all surfaces wiped down, including door handles. We are also fumigating each listing with an ozone machine that is designed to kill odors, bacteria, and viruses. Safety and cleanliness is our top priority. Note: while the cancellation policy is strict, if you think you may need to cancel we recommend getting travel insurance at SquareMouth. The Space: This is a 1 bedroom carriage house that has high speed internet, TV, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with tub. The bedroom has a full bed. Guest Access: The space is completely private from the rest of the house (in a different building). The Neighborhood: The Carriage House is 2 blocks from the mineral belt trail and a short walk from the train station and downtown Leadville. You'll be surrounded by the highest mountains in the Colorado Rockies where majestic scenery blends with a lively history. There is much to do during your stay including: - Skiing at nearby Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek - Ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and Nordic skiing on the Mineral Belt Trail. - Mountain biking for any level of expertise. World-class hiking, mountain climbing, fishing and hunting. - Shopping, dining, visiting museums or taking a self-guided walking tour in a quintessential Victorian town. - Following the route of the Silver Kings in Leadville's Mining District. - Exploring ghost towns. - Four-wheeling from beginner level to the more advanced 13,186' Mosquito Pass, the highest vehicular road in the United States. Getting Around: Located just 4 blocks from Main street means that most places in town can be reached by foot. There is only off street parking on west side of 11th and Ash with on street parking East side of 11th and Ash. You can catch a bus in town to Copper Mountain and to the Frisco Transit Center. Other Things to Note: There is no on premises parking. Pets are not allowed. Please note: children are not permitted at this rental.
