Welcome to the Wilderness Escape Chalet! Tucked privately into a wooded setting, this chalet complete with playground for the kids (our only chalet with an outdoor play area!) And you will love the surprise hidden gem of this chalet -- Lake Wunderbar through the woods. Walk the short 1 minute path and you'll be greeted by the most beautiful lake, about 6 acres in size, completely surrounded by trees. It will take your breath away! Enjoy kayaking on the lake (we have 2 for your use), or simply sit in one of our chairs and enjoy the quiet of the water. Great for fishing and swimming, too! Back to the chalet, you'll find a full kitchen, two full baths, a great room and expansive deck. The Wilderness Escape is intended to be just that -- an escape -- but we do offer WIFI if needed. (Note that the television features antenna-only local stations.) Our Wilderness Escape Chalet is perfect for a family or friends getaway with a master bedroom suite on the main level and a loft with lots of additional sleeping space (queen size bed in the master; both a full and a twin in the loft). If needed, the couch in the great room also folds out to a sleeper. 4-legged family members (no cats, please) are also welcome! (Nightly fee will apply) Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. We do have early check-in options, but cannot guarantee early check-in until the day before your stay. In order to respect the neighbors, our property owners, and Innsbrook Resort's rental policies, we do not allow large events or gatherings at our chalets (typically 10-15 people). Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG, the digital trust platform that allows you, our guests, and our property owners to feel confident about our short-term rental transactions. Please note that once you have booked you will be asked to verify yourself with SUPERHOG.
