Sunroom
The sunroom is overlooking the back yard to the east. It has a refrigerator and microwave with the desk and TV. The master bedroom is right next door. It has a king sized bed, closet and dresser. Two large rooms in the back (east) of this vintage house. The sunroom was originally the sleeping porch that the extended family slept in during the summer months. The sleeping porch was above the horse stabels in 1890 wheb the house was built. Bedroom and sunroom. There is a shared bathroom out in the main hall. This is South Main Street. Fairfield was once the capital of Iowa. This house is one of the first built in town. The old governor's mansion is next door. There have been a couple of add-on's: the kitchen is under the old sleeping porch, and the garage/apartment is new in 2016. There is plenty of parking on the property. We are 9 blocks from the town square. The first friday of every month is a city-wide celebration. Walk to the square and enjoy the free entertainment and extraordinary food. No pets allowed in the house. We have a well behaved 2 yr old.
