Welcome to this hidden getaway. Be sung to sleep by the baritone voices of bullfrogs, allow fireflies to light your way, be entertained by humming birds as you sip morning coffee. We are situated approx 25 min SE of Atlanta, traffic dependent. Many amenities/sightseeing opportunities: ATL Speedway, Coca Cola Museum, CNN Center, State Farm Arena, MLK Center, ATL Aquarium, Tanger Mall, restaurants and more. The best of both worlds, city life/peace and quiet are at your disposal. Pond on premises. We are providing short term rental of our basement space. Includes: 2 bedrooms- both with queen beds, a private entry, private full bath, small private kitchen, and living room. You will have access to a refrigerator, a small stove/oven, coffee maker and microwave. In the back you will find an awesome deck. The lower level is considered shared space and a great place to hang out and enjoy the morning. Important: You must be able to climb approx 15 outdoor stairs to enter the living space, and negotiate 1 step to access the toilet and shower combo in bathroom. Please note we do not add a standard cleaning fee to our rental prices. This location is not available for birthday parties, weddings or hosting varied assortments of business affairs/sales groups. This will allow us to safely and promptly address concerns and needs throughout your stay. We are conveniently located 20 miles south of Atlanta off I-75 and I-675. Stockbridge is often recognized as the gateway to Henry County. Supportive economic development, excellent public services and fabulous small town hospitality are all reasons why Stockbridge continues to enjoy tremendous growth. Stockbridge is the proud home of Panola State Park, Merle Manders Conference Center and Eagle's Landing Country Club. We are minutes away from great restaurants. Our home is literally located on the McDonough and Hampton GA boundaries. We are located smack dab in the best Henry County has to offer. Please take the time to map your destination points from our location BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS LISTING to avoid any possibility of location disappointment. For many, we are the perfect distance to take a ride into Atlanta to enjoy the buzz of the city, and just far enough away to get away from the city challenges when you have had your fill and desire a peaceful alternative. We feel it is the best of both worlds. I recommend having a car, as public transportation is not a viable option in our area. Lyft or Uber may serve you well in the immediate vicinity, however, would be a costly option for those traveling to and from Atlanta. There is a pond. We do allow fishing so bring your bait and your poles. There is No swimming, No skinny dipping, No nude sunbathing allowed. Families with kids rent at your own risk, as there is no barrier or lifeguard to monitor your children around the pond. Kids should be accompanied by an adult at the pond at all times. No laundry facility onsite, however, Soap and Suds Coin Laundry and 24/7 Coin Laundry are approximately 4 miles from our location. Be aware, we do have cameras outside of home to ensure we maintain the safe environment, we all enjoy.
