This completely private haven is located only 13 miles from downtown Fredericksburg, but it is worlds away from city life. The oldest part of this luxurious retreat was built in 1840 several miles to the west and moved and reassembled at its current location by its current owners. The master bedroom features delightful antiques and a queen sized bed. Spring Log Haus is the perfect place to come spend a week for a true taste of the Texas Hill Country! Different from many hill country cabins, it is completely outfitted with dishwasher, microwave, range/oven, refrigerator and all utensils, so you can prepare your own meals. Guests have returned five, seven, even ten times and more during Spring Log Haus‚ many years of serving up Texas style hospitality. After one stay at Spring Log Haus, you are sure to become one of her many admiring fans! Plan to book early as Spring Log Haus often books well in advance. Spring Log Haus does not accept reservations during November and December due to hunting season. ​​​​​​​Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC) Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will not be visible.
