Our beautiful apartment in a house from 1906 is newly renovated. We have three large bedrooms, a combined livingroom/kitchen and a bathroom with shower/bathtub. It is situated in the best location on Södermalm, close to shops, restaurants and bars This is a unique apartment in a house built in 1906 that gives you all the comfort you can ask for during your stay in Stockholm . The apartment is 102 squaremetres with 3 really large bedrooms. It has just been renovated and all the woodenfloors are painted white, making the apartment extremely bright. 50 metres from the apartment you can take the train to and from Arlanda Airport (pendeltåg). 5 minutes away you will find the subway (Mariatorget) and outside the door you can catch two different buses that take you downtown and also to the Old Town and the Royal Castle. Another bus takes you straight to Långholmen, a beautiful small island in the middle of Stockholm, perfect for a walk or a swim. If you prefer walking the Old Town/Royal Castle is about 20 minutes away and in about 30 minutes you will have walked downtown. If you want to take the ferry to Djurgården (where you will find The Vasamuseum, Grön Lund, Skansen and more) it is just a 15 minutes walk from the apartment. We love our part of Södermalm and are sure you will do the same. It is close to all the action but at the same time situated in a quiet area and you can take nice walks by the water around all of Södermalm and the rest of Stockholm if you want to. There are lots of different shops, restaurants, museums, pharmacies and also a great market hall close to where we live. During the summertime Södermalm is filled with outdoor dining places where you can have dinner or just a drink. Only a short walk away you will reach Tantolunden and Långholmen where you can go swimming, in the middle of Stockholm, or have a nice picnic in the evening. Our part of Södermalm is extremely childfriendly with several playgrounds just a few minutes away. Buses, trains and the train to Arlanda is litterally just around the corner. It is really easy to get anywhere you could possibly want to get The apartment is also in perfect location if you would like to walk around our beautiful capital, 20 minutes to Gamla Stan (Old Town) and 30 minutes to get downtown (T-centralen). Our apartment is perfect if you are travelling with children since two out of the three bedrooms are children´s bedrooms. All of the rooms are very spacious and we can provide comfortable mattresses (maximum 2) if you need extra beds.
