THE HOUSE Was thoughtfully designed, taking each detail into consideration. FROM SAN JOSE • Costa Rica International Airport in (SJO). +By PRIVATE SHUTTLE-It takes 5 hours- equipped with Wifi and A/C +By CAR it takes five hours: You will have to drive to Puntarenas about 1:45 hours in normal traffic, than you have to catch the Ferry to Paquera about other 1:30 hours and then you drive about an hour to Montezuma. +By PLANE is a 25 min flight: You can take a plane with either Sansa or Green Airways from (SJO) to Tambor airport from there is a 30 minute drive to Casa Cocobolo. -Private Charter-Concierge can arrange a private charter from San Jose to Tambor Airport -Helicopter-Concierge can arrange a Helicopter from San Jose to the property of Casa Cocobolo • FROM LIBERIA AIRPORT +By PRIVATE SHUTTLE-It takes 4 hours- equipped with Wifi and A/C +By CAR Its a 4 Hour drive to Casa Cocobolo +By PLANE 30 min flight: You can fly with a domestic plane (Sansa or Green Airways) Occasionally, The flight will include a short stop over in San Jose then onto Tambor. -Private Charter-Concierge can arrange a private charter from San Jose to Tambor Airport -Helicopter-Concierge can arrange a Helicopter from San Jose to the property of Casa Cocobolo Our Concierge service can arrange a private taxi to pick you and your guests up at Tambor airport OR a rental vehicle can be delivered to the airport or villa Additional information: When selecting an international flight into Costa Rica and planning your trip, keep in mind that the immigration line can take up to 1hr, sometimes longer. The distance from San Jose Airport (SJO) to Puntarenas to catch the ferry to Puntarenas is roughly 1.5-2hrs by vehicle. Please inquire with Concierge about the ferry schedule as it does change sometimes. At the moment the latest ferry from Puntarenas is 6p.m (this could change at any time) If you arrive to San Jose in the late afternoon and plan on arriving to Casa Cocobolo the same day, you can drive around the peninsula if you missed the last ferry time. The drive around the peninsula takes 1 hour longer. All domestic and charter flights within Costa Rica can only fly between 8a.m and 17:00hrs by law.. The 3 bedrooms upstairs are equipped with A/C, but the main level of the villa doesn't have-There's a BigAss fan in the living room and sliding glass doors in the kitchen area as well to allow for a coastal breeze. CHECK-IN AFTER 8PM results in an additional $100 charge Mandatory Housekeeping daily from 12-4 Because of the villa's design, there's a possibility of insects entering the living space. We try our best to control the situation with routine fumigation; however, there's no guarantee of a bug-free zone given the villa location and hectares of the pristine jungle.
