Casa Sombrero is a large oceanfront house with breathtaking views of the Playa Santa cove in Guanica. The house is located in a gated community in a promontory overlooking the cove. The second floor of the house, recently renovated, consists of a spacious, sunny and confortable apartment with ocean front tv room, fully equipped kitchen, plus three air conditioned bedrooms, two full bathrooms and an extraordinary terrace. The apartment is available for 14 day (or longer) stays. The house sits on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Its second floor apartment has a tv room and a kitchen with ocean views, plus three sunny and breezy bedrooms. The highlight of the apartment, however, is a wonderful 650 sq. feet terrace, perfect for dining, sun-bathing or just relaxing, that feels like a yacht deck A white sand beach, popular with locals (and festive on weekend afternoons) is a short walk down the hill. The Bosque Seco (Dry Forest) abuts the property: you can enjoy hiking (or driving) to the Jungla and other secluded beaches, mountain biking, and bird watching among the salinas and marshes. Also, the mangrove lagoons and reefs are great for snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boards. Or you can just relax on the terrace.
