There’s so much to watch from the window - the tides, the weather, birds, trains, dog-walkers, people and glorious sunsets. We are just above the shops on Arnside Prom - close to pubs, cafes, a chippie and shops. There are endless glorious walks on the doorstep, great wildlife and places to explore. With its quick access to Kendal and the South Lakes, Arnside is a hidden gem of a place. Parking for two cars. All linen provided. Immediate access to the seafront via a passageway. There are two great pubs, a choice of cafe, a popular fish and chip shop and an additional restaurant. There are two basic food shops too. Everything you could need for a relaxing and interesting stay Arnside has a train station with trains to Grange-over-Sands and Barrow in the north and Lancaster, Preston and Manchester in the south. Kendal is 20 minutes drive away and Windermere about 15 minutes further on. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines Please note that extras like throws, cushions have been removed and that books and games are temporarily unavailable. There is a signed detailed description of our cleaning process at the property along with instructions about how to leave the property when you go (nothing too onerous!)
