Updated Victorian Farmhouse in Pastoral Bovina

Renovated Victorian farmhouse in an idyllic pastoral setting surrounded by streams and meadows. 3,600 square feet over 3 floors, the house is comprised of 3 spacious bedrooms and a 1200 square foot loft, 3.5 bathrooms, a generous parlor and living room with wood-burning fireplace, a large kitchen, breakfast nook and dining room that seats 14. The house sits on a hill at the corner of two country roads. You will find the fire pit in an expansive yard at the base of the hill and a swimming hole right across the road from the house (best for wading and a quick dip as it's right off the road). Max 2 pets at $100/pet per stay. Please inquire for approval. The third floor has two ceiling units for AC/heat operated by remote control. Baseboard heat is provided throughout the rest of the house, and there are two portable floor AC units for moving around when the summer heat is at its highest. Otherwise, the house is cooled by floor fans, open windows and the temps that drop at night. Please notes some bedding and furnishings may look slightly different than photos due to updates since opening. Also note the house is very old, and the exterior has significant wear and tear in certain areas, but the setting and interior more than make up for it. While we welcome families and children, the house is not child-proofed. This part of Bovina is a fairly remote rural setting surrounded by private land. It's a 25 minute drive to the nearest grocery store or gas station. There is no cell service in the town of Bovina. We recommend you turn on your WiFi based calling setting on your smart phone to make cell phone calls while on the house WiFi network. You will need a car to maneuver around this area of the Catskills.
