Red Rocks Edge. It's Sedona's "oceanfront"!

Hike, bike, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sedona up close and personal. Stay in one of a hand full of Sedona homes that border The Red Rock National forest. It would be hard to find another home closer to the red rocks than this one. When you go to the beach, you want oceanfront. When you come to Sedona you want Red Rock front. As travelers ourselves, we have always used VRBO to stay in many fabulous locations. Every time, because we are unfamiliar with the area, we hope that we are picking just the right spot. As you drive toward the house, and see that the beautiful red rocks are getting closer and closer, you will realize that you have picked the absolute right spot for your stay in Sedona. It is truly a peaceful retreat at the foot of Thunder Mountain. Only the wildlife will be living closer to the red rocks than you! Just across the street, less than 50 yards away, is the Andante Trailhead. This trailhead is the gateway to a trail system which allows you to hike or bike to almost anywhere in Sedona. It is also used by the locals to avoid the more crowded trailheads while still getting you to all of the most beautiful places in Sedona. You wont need to pack up the car, drive to the trailhead and find a place to park. You'll just need to walk across the street! If you bring your mountain bikes, you will love having the use of the two car garage. It is a secure place to store your equipment while you are away and has a small workshop area with a repair stand for tuning after the ride. There are cornhole boards and a frisbee golf stand in the garage for you to play with as well. After a long day of activities, sit back on the deck and watch the colors of the rocks shift as the sun sets. You might hear a coyote howl or the drums of a drum circle at the Amitabha Peace Park. The park is one of your neighbors and within view of the house. Travelers come from all over the world to visit this park and you are just a two minute walk away. Located in West Sedona, in one of the first neighborhoods built called Harmony High Park, it is away from the tourist crowds yet convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and tour companies. It is where the locals choose to live. Harmony High Park is one of the few Sedona neighborhoods with no HOA restrictions on vacation rentals. There are other vacation rentals nearby and you will always feel like a welcome guest.
