Brigand Hill: Full staff included *CERTIFIED*!!!

December 2022 - Christmas week must be Dec 23-30th or 24th-31st. Access to 2 local beach’s included - one is at a hotel about a ten minute drive. The second is about a ten minute walk or 3 minute drive from the villa. Private, eco-friendly, Jungle " Bungalow" w/pool perfectly situated between all major destinations of the island while providing utmost privacy close to nature. ** Full staff included in the rate includes cook, maid, and caretaker. Food and alcohol NOT included.** Brigand Hill has a main building with 3 bedrooms ( two queens and 1 twin set) as well as 3 full bathrooms--all with skylights-- a living room, outdoor dining room, two outdoor showers, a full wrap around deck overlooking the canopy and rainforest to the East, and the Caribbean Sea to the West. We have a separate " cabana" just off the pool that includes two more bedrooms ( one queen, one twin set) and another full bathroom with his and her sinks. Guests have access to the entire home and all its amenities. Brigand Hill is the only villa in a 500-acre former banana plantation that includes a private beach with utmost privacy. Easy access either by walking down the driveway or drive down with all of your necessary items for the perfect beach day-- i.e. cooler, drinks, food. Snorkeling is great just off the beach to the right, so make sure to enjoy our complimentary snorkel gear. Just ask our caretaker George. Owner of the villa lives in the US most of the year, but is always available by phone or by email should the need arise. We have a full time caretaker who lives below the home in his own space who can help with absolutely any issues at all. George is a great guy and a jack of all trades, so don't hesitate to pick his brain regarding history of the island, things to do, where to go. He can also help plan daily excursions and act as your tour guide and show you around the island. He's about as great as they come. Brigand Hill sits on top of a large valley overlooking a former banana plantation ( you may never want to leave your hammock on the wrap around deck). To the East, you have the rugged mountains that help make St Lucia's landscape so dramatic - to the West, you have the Caribbean Sea and its crystal blue waters (visible from most parts of the house), as well as our private beach. The home is on the West Coast, just off the main road that travels between the north and south. There is very little development on the east coast - most, if not all, of the island's hotels and sightseeing areas are on the west coast and a quick drive from Brigand Hill. It is close to everything you'd want to do, while still affording you privacy and a sense of intimacy with the island. A local fishing village sits just north of the home about 5 minutes, and a popular hotel (Tikaye Resort) about 5 minutes south. The Pitons, in the town of Soufriere, along w/ the Sulphur Springs and the drive-in Volcano, about 30 minutes south. Deep-sea fishing charters 30 minutes north. Tourists will need to use certified taxi's to move about the island. We've partnered with a local hotel to use their airport shuttle for guests to get to/from Brigand Hill. Our villa manager can then help organize certified taxis for guests once on island to get to certified excursions etc. ***PLEASE READ: A note to our guests regarding COVID-19*** December 2022 holiday weeks must be the following: The week incorporating Christmas must be a Friday or Saturday check in Dec 23rd or 24th and 7 night or 14 night stay. No exceptions. I would strongly encourage you to visit the St Lucia Tourism Ministry site to fully understand the current protocols in place due to COVID. Currently the island is not allowing tourists to rent cars - you have to travel by certified taxi. We've partnered with a local hotel near the house named Ti Kaye Resort and Spa to allow Brigand Hill guests to utilize their airport transfer drivers as well as allow our guests to use their beach/dining restaurant and beach bar/restaurant. They also have a great scuba diving/snorkeling outfit there. Our villa manager George can also help organize certified taxis while on island. You can also engage Ti Kaye's taxis for all their certified excursions they do for their hotel guests. Please understand that these are 3rd party providers and not associated with Brigand Hill in any way ( we do not participate financially in any respect). Please inquire directly with Ti Kaye's concierge for cost quotes regarding any service offered including airport transfers. We will not be providing ANY REFUNDS for cancelled reservations and our strict policy will be enforced. We can no longer afford to accommodate guests who would like to cancel their reservation simply because they are not comfortable traveling under the circumstances. If your inability to travel is due to a reason covered under Airbnb's Extenuating Circumstances policy, then you are covered (and so are we). Outside of that, we will NOT BE PROVIDING REFUNDS NOR RE-BOOKING TO LATER DATES. We would encourage anyone exploring a visit to St.Lucia to read about the phased re-opening, protocols in place, timeline of each phase and a lot of other pertinent information on the St Lucia Tourism Ministry site. It gives us no pleasure under these difficult times, but at this point, we, as a host, can no longer foot the bill for COVID-19 related disruptions. Please make sure that, should you be considering us for a future stay, that you understand the policy in place. We appreciate your understanding and wish everyone continued health during these unprecedented times. Brigand Hill maintains a full time staff that includes a cook ( Bertilla), maid ( Vera) as well as our caretaker, George. Guests say Bertilla's cooking rivals that of the major restaurants on the island and we highly recommend planning several meals w/ her. Vera will make sure your bed is made every morning and clothes are washed and folded. You don't have to raise a finger; let them pamper you!
