The villa is stocked with all necessities such as linens, towels, coffee, drinking water, firewood, and charcoal, and anything else needed is easily delivered by local supermarkets, pharmacies, and butchers. Private villa with secure parking, gazebo, fully-equipped interior kitchen with microwave and blender, laundry facilities, and detailed activity information with directions provided. Queen and king rooms with orthopedic mattresses, loft beds for adventurous children, family rooms, and all but one bedroom have Smart TVs with Netflix. Air-conditioning in two master bedrooms, strong overhead fans in most rooms, hot water for long soaking or jacuzzi baths, first load of firewood provided for relaxing evenings by the fire, and a brick oven for roasting meat or making pizza. Stay home and have everything you need at your fingertips, or explore Jarabacoa's many outdoor attractions such as hiking, mountain-climbing, horse-back riding, waterfalls, rivers, paragliding, rafting, canyoning, quad-running, and more. The villa is for the exclusive use of our guests, together with safe and secure parking, with space for numerous vehicles. Guests are welcomed and situated, then left to the privacy of their friends or family. Assistance is available by phone. Horses, tours, directions, reservations for rafting, canyoning, and paragliding, and any other activity desired by guests may be arranged by your host. Please note that some activities are still closed because of the current public health situation. The villa lies outside town in a rural neighborhood, surrounded by country cabins, the sound of children playing, and farm and domestic animals out for a stroll. Just a short drive or walk from the center of Jarabacoa, but a universe away from the honking horns and loud music that is often typical of Dominican towns. Horses may be brought right to the villa door for exploring the surrounding countryside, rivers, and waterfalls. Free parking on site, with motorbike service ($1 U.S.) and taxi service ($3 U.S.) available to town. Public transportation to and from Jarabacoa and neighboring towns and cities in the center of town (Caribe Tours has 4 bus schedules to and from Santo Domingo daily, 7 a.m., 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.). Private vehicles may park on site, and 4x4 is not required. Special cleaning of all surfaces frequently touched is performed between guest arrivals (such as remote controls, light switches, door knobs, etc.). In-person services such as periodic light cleaning are not available due to the COVID-19 crisis. A night caretaker sleeps on the property in a service room on the first floor for assistance with fireplace, TVs, etc. He respects both the privacy and health of our guests, and is very discreet. Extra charge of $8 U.S. per person per night for every guest after 20 guests. Method of payment may be discussed at time of reservation.
