Casa Rosado (Studio A)

Enjoy the Caribbean breeze and all the beautiful wonders of Culebra while staying in our comfortable studio units, great for couples, families, and groups! We are centrally located between all of the amazing beaches Culebra has to offer (only 2.5 miles from the famous Flamenco Beach, a 15 minute walk from the airport, and just over a mile from downtown Dewey, and the Ferry dock)! Casa Rosado Studio A (lower right unit) offers you a beautiful studio space with private bathroom that has everything you need including A/C. Each Studio unit has 2 queen size beds, a small kitchenette equipped with electric burner, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Enjoy your shared covered balcony overlooking beautiful Ensenada Honda. Casa Rosado also comes beach equipped. Beach chairs, towels, and soft size cooler are provided. We are also just 100 meters away from La Surana Apartments, which has a public laundromat in the back for your convenience. For larger groups, Casa Rosado has 3 units available for rent in total. Main level home maximum occupancy of 6 people and the 2 lower level units' maximum occupancy of 4 people per unit. ***PLEASE NOTE that there are 2 cats who call Casa Rosado their home. They have adopted us (and our guests) and tend to sleep in the cool shade garden next to the stairs. Although they are on the premise, we ask that they stay outside and they are not brought into our home. If you are highly allergic to cats, I suggest not renting from us as they are very social creatures and love attention. Culebra is a US TERRITORY and is accessible from San Juan International Airport via Cape Air and the Isla Grande Airport via Flamenco Airlines and Vieques Air Link. Isla Grande Airport is a 10 minute cab ride from the International Airport but the flights are more affordable. An alternate method of travel is to take the ferry out of Ceiba, offered several different times per day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Isla Culebra (Snake Island), also known as Isla Chiquita (Little Island) is an undiscovered hidden treasure of the Caribbean. It's the last "Virgin Island" and has been named Culebra for all the right reasons. The island provides great opportunities for turtle watching, sailing, snorkeling, diving, surfing, flats and off shore fishing, sea kayaking, bird watching, and hiking. You will find some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean on this island. Here are 3 of our favorite beaches, but duly note that all the beaches are our favorite for their own different purposes. **FLAMENCO Beach has been rated one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Its long wide beach is great for all activities, from sunbathing on the soft, warm, white sand... to boogie boarding on the North shore... to mild wave bobbing and drinking the local Medalla beer down closer to the famous beached tanks. The food kiosks serve several different types of foods and drinks. **ZONI Beach is a 2 mile beach with white sand, seasonal nesting turtles and blue waters. From here you can see the uninhabited island of Culebrita (a wildlife preserve). If you have time, we highly suggest a day trip there. **TAMARINDO Beach will captivate you as soon as step foot on its sandy, seashell covered beach. Across the way is Luis Peña Cay, another wildlife preserve. Its beauty also lies below the surface, where we invite you to bring your snorkeling gear so that the feeding sea turtles can also captivate you by their beauty! We are blessed to have an amazing management team taking care of our beautiful home and making sure our guests have everything needed for their stay. Montana is where we call home with our 3 amazing girls and travel down to our ‘home away from home’ as often as we can. You may see our team stopping by Casa Rosado taking care of odds and ends, so please feel free to ask them for anything extra you may need during your stay. We may be considered within walking distances to beaches, restaurants, supermarket and charming gift shops, BUT we do suggest renting a jeep or golf cart for the ease of exploring all of Culebra. Casa Rosado is on the outskirts of the town Dewey (about 15min walk from airport). If you choose to rent, it’s important to reserve your jeep or golf cart early – For Jeep and Golf Cart rental find Carlos Jeep Rental and Jerry's Jeeps. Both are owned by Culebra Locals. *2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY *Check in is @ 3pm, check out is @ 11am *Home has off street (sidewalk next to mural) parking for Studio guests and driveway parking for Upper level guests. Please note that driveway is steep but very accessible even with golf cart. *Outdoor rinsing showers are available for sandy items. Please try to keep as much sand as possible outside as additional cleaning charges may be applied. *The island has many different animals (and insects) that roam free, so please take advantage of the free daily Blue-Trash-Can-Pick-Up-Services. We strive to keep Casa Rosado and Culebra clean. *Although Culebra is surrounded by prestine waters, we do not recommend consuming the tap water. *At times there are mosquitoes in Culebra so repellent is recommended. *Room/tourism tax of 7% will be added by AirBnB from Aug 1st, (Phone number hidden by Airbnb)
