Every detail here is meant with care and love for beauty; with full respect for the heritage and the history of the house and an open sight for new horizons. in Isla Esperanza we aim to share our findings and creations. We have chosen artisanal, handmade, organic, pure, honest and soulful objects, materials and colors that capture us and fill us with joy. They all tell their own stories. It is our joy to listen and to let them be home. It is our pleasure to share them with you. The laughter of Esperanza, the loving grandmother we owe this house to, is our inspiration to continue in this quest for beauty, art and meaningful experiences. This has been a home for artists and social transformers for many generations; our childhood dances now and then to a melancholic guitar tune around the patio; under the stars, the moonlight and the avocado tree. We are located in a 10min walking distance to the main square, Zocalo or Santo Domingo, in one of the older neighborhoods in Oaxaca City, famous for its bakeries and carpenters. You can still find some of the last ones here, along with the best coffee roastery in the city, art galleries, graphic and illustration workshops.
