The Cozy Cabell Cottage

It’s time for an adventure at our vacation rental, Cabell Cottage. With Lake Cumberland only 5 minutes away via the Cabell landing....really your boat is 5 minutes from being in the water; the cottage can be your base for all things fun on the lake (swimming, boating, and fishing). Did I CATCH your interest with fishing. However, if it’s a retreat you seek, the cottage is also for you as it sits in a quiet, very pretty, rural area of Wayne County, Kentucky, where 5 can sleep easily. The cottage is an open concept with a kitchen, dining, and living room combination. The living room houses a queen sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a twin bed and a queen bed. With all the sleeping accommodations, the cottage will easily sleep 5 adults. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your basic needs. The bathroom has a shower with towels and linens provided. The cottage also has a washer and dryer. We have two smart TVs and free Wi-Fi. Outside, relax around the fire pit and grill your catch of the day. We have a large graveled front entrance for easy parking of trucks, boats, and cars. The front is all graveled for easy pull in and out for cars and large trucks with boat trailers, etc. In addition to the cottage, you can enjoy a beautiful view from the front or back porch. In the back yard, you will also have access to a firepit with seating. Or perhaps you would like to make use of the charcoal grill provided for your convenience. I will be happy to communicate with guests when needed. In our county or close proximity are 4 marinas and another lake, Dale Hollow. In Monticello you will find our wonderful History Museum, the famous Kennett's Antiques Trading Post, the delicious Pool Room hamburger, ( yum!), coffee shops, and several gift shops. Also, check out Mill Springs National Park and go on the hunt for our three swinging bridges. Plus, if your arrival falls on the 4th weekend of the month, you might choose to take in Somernites Cruise in neighboring Pulaski County (the official Car Cruise Capital of Kentucky).
