This rental is ideal for two guests, but we also have plenty for families that come up to enjoy it, as it is a fun experience for kiddos to be surrounded by so much nature. The tipi has a spacious feel, and there is private access to the Delaware river. Our land is brimming with wildlife, and eagle sightings are frequent, as they fish on this location of the river. There is a queen size bed, bioengineered rainwater shower, and fire pit. You are also welcome to use our inner tubes and canoe! We are on a beauty stretch of the Delaware river. Many travel from far trying to capture the eagles here, and this property gives you front row seats. The river access, and use of our inner tubes, life jackets and canoe, are yours- but do know that use of these things are at your own risk. Located right on the Eddy- of Pond Eddy (name of the town) this is an incredible fishing spot. That’s why we have so many eagles! There are pickerel, lots of bass, walleye, catfish, even Muskie. The green here in the spring and summer is intoxicating, and the foliage in fall overwhelmingly beautiful. There is a rainwater shower, compost toilet (that doesn’t smell;), and stone stairs to the river. This tipi does sit adjacent to our home- where I teach Pilates (fully equipped studio) and run a wellness business. Despite the fact that the studio is adjacent to our home it does feel private- like your own little corner of the world. You are welcome to enjoy mat class, and able book private lessons in the Pilates studio while you are here. Cell phone service is very limited, and while you are more than welcome to use our WiFi, the signal is fairly limited too. This more an ideal location for those who want to relax, unplug, and enjoy. We are passionate about wild food up here, and I am happy to tell you about the hidden gems and incredible places to enjoy here. We love living here, it is a beautiful river valley, filled with remarkable people, and fun things to do. I so enjoy sharing all that this area has to offer. I do want to mention that this is not a location that we are not far off in the middle of the woods. We are located on Route 97. This makes us very easy to get to, but it is possible to hear passing vehicles at times. Looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our beautiful tipi on the Delaware river! Access to river, deck, loan overlooking the river, Pilates classes, inner tubes, rainwater shower, toilet, house WiFi, tipi, coal barbecue, fire pit. I am available, love answering questions, happy to support you in your stay- tell you the best the area has to offer. If you want to just do your own thing, that’s okay too! Plenty of fun things to do. Local farmers market, drinks at the Bag bang bar, and Romans pub that houses one of the oldest (push pin) bowling alleys in the United States. Restaurants, hikes, historical sites, fly fishing, guided river trips, zip lining, boutique shopping, canoeing/river rafting trips, and some competition style buffalo wings that rival the best of the best.
