Our home is one of eight beachfront homes in the Bahia Pez Vela Resort community. Bahia Pez Vela Resort is the only development on this secluded and beautiful Blue Flag beach. The private, jetted pool, Italian stone and wood patio, and 'next to the forest' location distinguishes Villa Las Olas for its luxury and its privacy. The pool and patio area were designed by Costa Rican architect Juan Roca and was featured in Su Casa architecture magazine. The pool area is furnished with beautiful Costa Rican-made Castelle lounges and dining furniture worthy of Roca's setting. We also provide a deep-seating conversation pieces that convert into cushioned lounges for sun seekers and afternoon nappers. While our home's spacious dimensions provide ample room for up to six adults and two children, it is still intimate enough for traveling twosomes. Two of the three generously sized bedrooms are ocean-front, which makes the set-up ideal for two couples or families. The newly-remodeled and fully-equipped kitchen and the outdoor grill provide options for home-cooked meals and for in-home chef services alike. The full-size washer and dryer are convenient for families and for adults who travel light. Three light-filled and newly remodeled bathrooms have high-end finished, including ceramic tile, granite countertops, and Grohe fixtures. All furnishings are fresh and tropical, but also practical and child-worthy. Kitchen, bedroom and bath linens are provided, as well as pool towels. Our home is air-conditioned with mini-splits in each of the rooms for individual control. Some like it cool, while others may prefer an overhead fan with a screened double door so they can enjoy the sound of the surf and the the pleasant ocean breezes. We accommodate both! Whale-watching, world class fishing and diving, as well as good old wave bobbing, snorkeling and boogey boarding are available at the beach just steps from the pool and patio of our home. The sea provides constant entertainment, be it the delight of seeing silver rays fly out of the water and whales breeching, kayaking with dolphins, or exploring lively tide pools. If you are very lucky, you'll witness turtles coming in to lay their eggs and the hatching of the babies and their march to the sea. If you just want to relax, there's nothing better than sitting on the patio in the morning with a cup of Costa Rican coffee, or grabbing a glass of wine and heading to the beach for sunset. The Bahia Pez Vela Resort community provides a full array of concierge, business, maid, maintenance, and gardening services, as well as 24/7 security. Cellular service is strong, and Skype, WhatsApp and FaceTime work exceptionally well. Basic office services are available from our Reception Office team. And if you need access to North American television, the living room has an enhanced HD cable service which brings in CNN and and other North American media outlets.
