Lovely (9 meter) flat bottom boat. Isolated, heated, running water, wifi, etc, etc. Entrance, main cabin with a sink, table, sofas. Toilet, bedroom in the front. The bedroom fits two in a double bed (160x200 cm) on portside. Third person in a single bed on starboard. The fourth person can sleep in the smaller bunk bed above the others, or you can store your luggage there. Nespresso coffee machine, water cooker. Wifi. Shower on shore. Being on a boat is so special. The interior of old fashioned, cosy tradition. Slowly moving by the wind, feel you are alive. Waking up by the sound made by ducks. A beautiful white swan trying to pursue you to feed her a piece of bread. And being on the outside of the hectic city doesn't mean your not there! The marina is just 5 minute walk from the train station 'Weesp'. And Weesp to Amsterdam Central Station is just 15 minutes by train. These trains rides every fifteen minutes. You are faster in the centre than when you would take a cab! The whole boat will be yours, including car park facilities. Adjacent is a public playground. The Yachtclub is positioned opposite the main police station. Safe feeling! The smal city Weesp is booming with little restaurants, cafe's wine-bistro and a very good small restaurant "The Walrus". Here you can enjoy a meal starting at € 11,-! This restaurant is just at 200 meters. You can ask me if I have the time to take you on a river cruise on my classic tug-boat. The river 'Vecht' is beautiful year-round! We can even take you and your family to Amsterdam by boat. Takes about 1,5 hour through beautiful rivers or over the 'IJsselmeer'. “...Weesp is a pretty little town a stone's throw from Amsterdam, so one can experience both a quiet evening by the water and the bustling city...” The boat is moored next to a public playground/city-park. Even has its private entry to the park! Ideal for families with (little) kids. Very safe; opposite the marina is the police station. When visiting in summer, you will be sleeping in your private pool! The water quality is superb. The river 'Vecht' is beautiful year-round! You can ask Steven if he has time to take you on a tour on his classic boat build in 1923. He can even take you to Amsterdam by boat. Takes about 1,5 hour straight through the centre of Weesp, crossing bridges, following a beautiful river to Amsterdam. During your stay you can also, no, you should pay the Amsterdam castle in Muiden a visit. Very impressive. Very good maintained. Just 5 minutes by bike or 30 minutes walk. Also public transport available. Or ask Steven to take you with his small tugboat 'Arie' (Build 1923). From Muiden (2 km away from Weesp) a ferry goes to the old fortress -island 'Pampus' in the lake 'IJsselmeer'. Build around 1890. If you have kids, they would love it! Very interactive in presenting 'the old days'. Pampus was build to defend Amsterdam from the sea-side. Weesp trainstation is just a 5 minute walk, next to the river 'Vecht'. And from Weesp it's just a 15 minute train-ride to Amsterdam Central Station. The boat is very cosy. But it is not a stupid proof environment... You have to step on and off board, walk from carpark to the boat is 250 m.
