Mont Calm is a Historic Landmark on the National Register, built by Governor David Campbell in 1827. The Guesthouse sits on a quiet 12 acres in the center of Abingdon. The driveway meets the Virginia Creeper Trail head in town. The Barter Theatre, restaurants, shopping and the rest of Downtown are only a short walk away! Easily access all that the area has to offer like hiking, fly fishing, mtn biking, rock climbing, etc. The Guesthouse is modest but should have everything you need. One bedroom has a queen and a twin, one a full size, a queen, and a twin, and the third has bunk beds. The is one full bath and one half bath. The living room has a 47" flat screen tv, with digital antenna(no cable), DVD, and Amazon Fire TV/Wifi. There is a dining room off of the fully equipped kitchen. Coffee maker, toaster, microwave, oven/range, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. We have fans in every room, ac units, and a furnace in the winter time. There is a front porch and back porch and a massive front yard! You will not find a better location!
