Summary: Conveniently located in the middle of the activity hub of Woodstock, Phoenicia and Kingston, come and enjoy the natural state of Yankeetown Pond, nature's blessing of wildlife, clean air and total serenity. Spend the day relaxing at the site and enjoying the scenic views or you can head into the town of Woodstock and shop/eat at some great restaurants! If you are looking for some fun adventures head to Millstream swimming hole only a 10 minute drive, Giant Ledge and Panther Mountain Trail (25 minutes away), or check out Tinker Town Tube Rental (15 minutes away). There is no charge for fire wood or garbage disposal. The Space: Spend the perfect weekend at our campsite near Woodstock, Phoenicia and Kingston! Guest Access: This campsite is off-the-grid, offering the chance to relax, unplug, and experience nature! There is no electricity or WiFi, and cell service may be hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise. When it comes to bathrooms, this campsite comes with a solar camp shower (that will be filled with water and can be hung anywhere around your campsite you feel comfortable) as well as an outdoor camp toilet (you'll line the loo with a provided CleanWaste bag, do your duty, then remove the bag, tie it off, and throw it in the garbage). When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. Parking will be close by and dogs are always allowed! Whats included at the campsite: -A large canvas tent with a Queen sized air mattress -A separate five person pop-up dome tent -Picnic table and benches -Outdoor camp shower and toilet -2 Adirondack chairs -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows for the provided queen sized air mattress Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! Other Things to Note: Stay on the stone parking area with your car. Help preserve the natural state of your site. Please leave it as you found it. Secure your food as not to attract wildlife. Bring your own sheets and blankets or sleeping bags. We love dogs and encourage you to share your camping experience with them. Please be mindful of their whereabouts and try to keep them from going into the pond. A wet dog can make a real mess in the interior of the tent. Please clean up after them. Take the first ramp on the right onto Rt. 28 West. Go about 7.3 miles to the Glenford turnoff (Old Rt. 28) just past the Dylan / Sante Fe restaurant. Go .5 miles to first right. Make right onto Ohayo Mt. Road. Go .1 mile to the first left. Make left onto Glenford Wittenberg Road, go 2.9 miles to 520 Glenford Wittenberg Road. 40' past their driveway on the right is the access into the campsite. Interaction with Guests: Self Check-In: to limit the potential impact of community spread, we are encouraging our campers and hosts to adopt self-check in procedures whenever possible.
