Summary: Perched on the banks of the Androscoggin River, this site is nestled in the trees yet provides beautiful river views. During the day, the site is great for napping in your hammock, hiking the trails, or exploring the river by boat. At night, the calling loons will lull you to sleep. Enjoy hiking and biking the miles of trails on our private 400 acres of forests, fields and river frontage. Bring your birding life list - we are sure you will see some new feathered friends to check off. Wildlife abounds both on the property and across the river at Riverlands State Park. The site is located just minutes from Lewiston-Auburn, Bates College, and local breweries. Quite often, a gentle breeze off the water will offer relief from black flies and mosquitoes, but the right bug repellent is recommended especially to fend off those pesky ticks that are so common in Maine. **New RESTRICTIVE campfire policy The Space: Secluded waterfront site with sun and shade Other Things to Note: CAMPFIRES: Due to the vulnerability of our land, we have a very restrictive campfire policy. Unless the State of Maine Wildfire Danger Report is reported to be LOW, no campfires nor charcoal grills will be permitted. We just will not endanger the forest and wildlife habitats that we have been nurturing for 50 years. Water Safety: Please wear life jackets when using boating equipment.
