Beautiful Estes retreat located 3 mintues from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. This comfortable and well appointed 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath mountain home has all the amenities your group will need. Situated in the very desirable and quiet High Drive area, you are sure to run into some of the local wildlife just by walking out the front door, not to mention the VIEWS! With three bedroms and queen sleeper in the common area, this space is perfect for 4-8 guests.....All of the beds are comfortable, including the brand new memory foam sofa bed. Soft and comfortable bed linens with cozy comforters will ensure everyone gets a good night sleep. The master bedroom - Queen bed, flatscreen smart TV, dresser, ceiling fan and attached bathroom with a shower. (The blue room) Bedroom 2 - Queen bed, ceiling fan (The tan/beige room) Bedroom 3 - Bunk beds (The Bear room) Livingroom-Leather sectional with queen pull out sofa bed, Flatscreen TV, Fireplace Indoor amenities -Fast and free WiFI, 2 Flat screen smart TVs that allow you to log into any of your streaming accounts (Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, etc), Electric fireplace that can be lit up in different colors and warms the room, Dining table for 6-7 and a breakfast nook table for 4, beatiful woodwork throughout the home and new Pergo flooring througout. KITCHEN-Fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, drip coffee make/Keurig, all of the essentials you need to make a great meal for your group, blender, crock pot, and basic spices. Bathrooms - Complimentary toiletries, soft towels, hair dryer, and makeup removal cloths. Kiddos -Childrens Pack N Play and high chair Outside - Enjoy the crisp mountain air while you roast marshmallows on the deck with a gas fireplace or fire up the BBQ to whip up your best elk steak or bison burger. Seating for 8. Parking - Space for 3 vehicles in front of the home. Guest access All of it, except the locked garage Other things to note Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Guest can request early or late check in for additional fee and if availability allows. Requests must be received at least 3 days before check in date. Walking distance to several awesome restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, and gift shops. Oh, and the views along the way are INCREDIBLE!!! Watch for deer and Elk out the windows! We have a 6 point Bull Elk (we named him Barton) that visits us regularly. Make sure you get a carmel apple or some ice cream from famous Lauras! *3.8 miles to Lake Estes (marina, kayaking, fishing, ice fishing, fly fishing) *2.7 miles to the famous Stanley Hotel (Ghost tours, restaurants) *Attractions - Estes Park Aerial Tramway (not open in winter), Fun City, Bowling Alley, Hiking, Snow shoeing, Cross Country skiing, RMNP ToursGolf Course (Summer) *Breweries - Rock Cut Brewing, Lumpy Ridge, Estes Park Brewery *Hosts will provide a list of restaurant recommendations as well as info about their favorite trails to hike or snowshoe Airport - Denver International Aiport - 82 miles Getting around This home is located in the incredibly beautiful Estes Park valley just outside the gates to Rocky Mountain National Park. This location does require you to have a car. Once you are inside RMNP, there are shuttles that will take you from lower parking lots to the highly desirable Bear Lake area. Remember that Estes Park is in the Rocky Mountains. It sometimes snows or experiences inclement weather. Please account for this when determining your route, vehicle and timing. Refunds will not be granted for inclement weather unless extreme circumstances are in play. Late arrivals are fine since you will be able to do self check in with your door code. Take care driving on the mountain roads, follows posted speed and parking signs and watch for park rangers and police. They are nice, but you will likely be ticketed if you are not following the rules. 4 Wheel drive is nice but not necessary to enjoy all that the Estes Valley/RMNP have to offer. NOTICE! Outward facing security cameras are installed on the exterior of the home for your safety and security. Tampering with the exterior cameras or the WiFI within the home is grounds for termination of your stay. There are NO cameras in the inside of the home.
