Twin Palms Villa 2964 Kokomo Loop Haines City, Florida Twin Palms – our sweet 3-bedroom 2-bathroom Florida vacation home, located in the top-rated Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club. Twin Palms backs onto the golf course - enjoy the view from the pool and patio of the 2nd hole, and walk to the Southern Dunes clubhouse for happy hour and dinner specials daily! We have been pleased to host many visitors from Canada and the UK. This home is in a secure, friendly, gated community in Haines City, a suburb of Orlando, just 20 miles southwest of Disney on US Hwy 27. Haines City is mid-way between coasts – it’s an easy 75 minute drive on the Beachline Expressway to Cocoa Beach on the Atlantic Ocean, and similar distance to Tampa-area beaches on the Gulf side. Many of Florida’s top attractions such as Disney, Universal Studios, Lego land, and Sea World are a short drive away on Hwy 27 and I-4, as are a large number of excellent shopping areas including Orlando Premium Outlets Mall. And if you love to golf, you will find a wide range of courses within a 15 minute drive to choose from – we love Providence for layout and value, Highlands Reserve for views, Champions Gate and Celebration for challenge, and of course Southern Dunes is the most beautiful course you can imagine. Immaculately clean, well-maintained and continuously updated by loving owners, the home is comfortable and fully-furnished. There are 3 bedrooms with King, Queen, and Twin beds. The master bedroom has a Simmons Beautyrest firm mattress, an ensuite 3-piece bathroom, and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a Beautyrest pillowtop mattress, dresser, and a large closet. The third bedroom has twin beds and a large closet. There are flat-screen smart TV’s in every room so that guests can access Netflix, Showtime, HBO, Hulu, etc., if they have their own accounts. The house is fully air conditioned. The living area has a new sofa and love seat, and a 52" Sony flat-screen TV. The house comes with reliable high-speed internet, free Wi-Fi and free long distance calling throughout the US and Canada. The kitchen is fully equipped and we have recently installed all new stainless steel appliances. The dishwasher is super quiet. There are several grocery stores within walking distance, such as Wal-Mart and WinnDixie; there are also restaurants close by, including Denny’s, Dairy Queen, Manny’s (lots of fun and great food - you’ll love it!), Sonny’s BBQ (great salad bar!), Thai restaurant, and the best pizza ever at family-run Dora's (bring your own wine!). For extra fun, travel a bit further to the eclectic Cherry Pocket for good seafood and fun atmosphere. The home has a screened-in patio and private swimming pool with optional child barrier. Pool heat, if desired, is available at extra cost. There is a new digital front-loader Samsung washer and new Whirlpool dryer, along with a large drying rack in the garage, a set of new golf clubs (adult use only please) and as well a crib, playpen, stroller and highchair stored in the garage for your convenience if visiting with children. There is room for one car in the garage and a car in the driveway. The patio is equipped with tables, chairs, loungers, a large umbrella for shade, and new chair cushions. Extra folding chairs are in the garage, along with plenty of pool toys.
