Visit our 2 museums and explore the territorial capital of Kansas, the birthplace of the of the civil war. Walkout basement with private entrance in tranquil setting. Keyless entry for ease of access. Large living room with comfortable couch. Separate eating area with table for 4. Bar area with a sink, microwave and toaster ovens and small refrigerator with complimentary bottled water. There is also a coffee station with Keurig coffee maker. Not a full kitchen. Access to 1-2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has 2 full size beds; Bedroom 1 queen bed, and living room has a futon with a queen mattress and comfortable couch which can sleep 2. Guests of 3 or more may have access to both bedrooms. A quiet setting and minutes from I-70 and Rock Chalk park in Lawrence. ** please note this is a basement space in our home and while private ,we will be upstairs. The utility closet is also in the basement so there may be occasions we need access to that room** We are very sociable but will respect your privacy so as little or much interaction as you wish! We do live in the upstairs and are available if you have any issues or questions while you are here. Conveniently located between Kansas City and Topeka exit off I70 and within minutes of Lawrence Ks. Lecompton is the territorial capital of Kansas. Visit one of the 2 museums in our small town or have lunch at Aunt Netters cafe. Our town is approximately 1800 souls and we are a small proud community and love to share it! There is no public transportation from the property. Our place is on a dead end one lane road so be aware of cars coming from the opposite direction. Everyone is very respectful on the road. We only have 5 homes whose access is off the road. Our property is 3/10 mile and the driveway is the 2nd driveway on right hand (east) side of the road after coming up a small hill.
