Bubbees Farm, rural retreat in Whistler's backyard

*Please note we are renting to BC residents only for now* Large private home in Whistler's backyard, Pemberton, this airy and modern space features custom metalwork and breathtaking views of Mt Currie. This rural retreat has the perfect blend of location, privacy and inspiring views. This spacious open concept kitchen, dining & living room with a large upper deck lets everyone stretch out. We are a 10 acre property, on a quiet road close to multi-use trails, only 1km to the village of Pemberton Bubbees Farm's large private house is recently renovated with brand new appliances, flooring, paint, furniture & bathrooms. Handcrafted metalwork and farm themed artwork lends a unique character to each room. Both bathrooms feature in floor radiant heating, great for winter! There is also a small wood burning fireplace in the downstairs living room for cozy winter nights. We will get your breakfast off on the right foot too - each stay receives a dozen farm fresh eggs from our chickens. There is one queen bedroom off the living room downstairs. Upstairs there are three queen bedrooms along with the two bathrooms and open concept kitchen, dining area, second living room and big outside deck. The home has a private grassy yard and is situated on a 10 acre hobby farm with chickens, cows, honeybees & perennial gardens throughout. There's lots of room to park vehicles, trailers, sleds etc. Farm tours are available if you'd like to check out the animals or gardens, just let us know! Since this is a working farm, keep in mind some areas may be muddy at certain times of the year and there can be mosquitoes, flies & wasps in summer months. We have a small metal fabrication shop on the property, as well as farm activities and garden maintenance, but don't worry, these activities take place in regular day time hours. There is a small studio suite in the house that is rented to our farm/shop hand (Chad) It’s not attached to the house in any way, Chad helps us out here & takes care of the farm when we go away. Just so guests are aware, he very quiet & respectful guy. We are a husband and wife team and work on the property, so we are here most of the time. We live in the house down the driveway from the rental house. There is lots of privacy between the two houses, but we are here to help make the most of their stay. Whether it is helping get the fire going or for a tour of the farm. As long-term residents of Pemberton, we have a wealth of knowledge about our area, as well as Whistler. We are 1km past the main lights going into town. There are lots of easy biking/walking trails around us. Its a quick jaunt into town for groceries or a meal out. The golf course/airport turnoff is the next road just past ours. We live on a very quiet street with lots of privacy, all our neighbours are also on large acreages. If you are in need of an early check in, we will do our best to accomodate you! We also have 2 friendly dogs, Lady (border collie) & Lucy (Aussie Shepherd) who will most likely greet you in the driveway.
