Welcome! Our 4 bedroom 2 bath "cape colonial" style home is approx. 2300 s.f. of living space nestled in a private setting. It is also so close to town you can have the best of both worlds. It's surrounded on three sides by 35 acres of a forever wild nature preserve which is part of the New York State’s “5 Rivers”. You can hike, cross country ski or snow shoe right out the back door or just sit quietly and enjoy your favorite book along side nature.... and only 2 miles from the Albany border. You won't see another home like this one in regards to it's setting and proximity to area businesses and recreation. It's very close to all colleges and hospitals as well. I think you will find it especially cozy, warm and inviting. The first floor has radiant heat and the living room has a gas fireplace. We will consider discounting for parties of 1-2. If you have business to do let us know and we can make just about anything happen as far as space and equipment. Most areas will be accessible for your stay. This is a 2.5 acre piece of land surrounded by 35 of forever wild and on the opposite side of the road from a major housing development. Kind of the best of both worlds. We have a lot of restaurants and shopping near by. The bus stop (CDTA) is close by and will take you anywhere in the tri-city area. The train station (Amtrak) is about 10 miles away. We have Uber and Lyft as well. Discounts are available for 1 -2 people because of lighter use. We recently installed exterior cameras to monitor package deliveries and manage security in our absence. If they are a problem for you please let us know. We are looking for longer term stays so if you request something short you may be declined.
