Overlooking two interior patios providing a unique tropical feel at the Old City Center, the house features a living room and game area with a dart board & pool table, as well as access to a private rooftop. Rest assured that the time you'll spend indoors will be everything you could ever dream of! Just 20 steps from La Fortaleza (the Governor's Mansion) and next door to a private park, the Deco Mansion features a 4,000 open space floor, with an exposed brick wall in the master bedroom, king bed and walk-in closet. Two additional bedrooms with unique spacious benefits - a second floor balcony and rooftop access. Kitchen is equipped with stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator and toaster. There's a dining room, living room, game room and a study, in addition to the three bedrooms and the balcony. The house is fresh with plenty of breeze when the windows are opened and ceiling fans are on. There are AC units in each of the rooms. There are additonal fans for even more ventilation if desired. The house is equiped with a generator and water cistern, meaning you will never be short on these two essentials if services falter. Guests have exclusive access to the roof top with a view of the private park and the Governor's mansion. Guests can expect a personal welcoming and recommendations to our favorite restaurants and activities. Safe walking at any hour, walk around the corner to popular calle Cristo, where you'll find a host of outlets, art galleries, bars and local shops. Or head down to the historic entrance of Old San Juan and enjoy a sunset stroll in front of the ocean along the beautiful Paseo la Princesa. Locals love this street, so will you. Old San Juan is truly a walkable city and there's plenty of things to do: great museums, shopping, art galleries, restaurants and an awesome night life scene. For trips outside of Old San Juan, you may rent a car or use Uber. For Parking in Old San Juan, there are three alternatives: La Puntilla (South side) or Ballajá (North side), both are about 5 minute walk to the house. There is usually parking on the street early in the morning or late in the afternoon. There are some restrictions in certain blocks, details in guidebook. There is the "lancha" shuttle in the lower piers if you want to visit the Bacardi Distillery or have lunch alongside the Cataño piers. NO SMOKING on the premises. Anywhere.
