Rural Limestone Gem. Hunting. Yoga. Or both!

Peaceful rural setting 2 miles south of I70. You get the place to yourself. Please make us aware of any and all pets arriving with you as we will add a $40 cleaning fee. Remove shoes in our house, please. Stroll the 3 acre lot or go for a walk down the country mile. My place is available to day travelers and hunters. Upstairs suite redone Feb of 2022. You will smell polyurethane up there. Be kind to the floors! Ask us about guiding a bit of yoga OR inquire about the hunting. It’s an old house (100+years) and a real find for the hunters but day travelers also. Speaking of day travelers, the large grass lot on the west side of the house is listed as a rough day camping spot. In case you see a tent pop up. (Rate) Let me know if you have any pets/animals traveling with you, there is an additional fee for them ($40). Also please stay clear of the north patio and garage to the south. (there’s a stall for hunting dogs in said garage) Upstairs has a heat pump for heating and cooling. Please leave house how you found it. Use the washing machine on the morning of departure. Bedding or towels please. Wash the dishes you use during your stay, there is a dishwasher. Sweep floors, wipe counters, and do not leave any food or drink anywhere, including the kitchen sink. Lock door when departing. You will notice a machine shed full of farm machinery. You can walk back there. Just don’t mess with stuff. Garage, not pictured, is available upon request and necessary for any hunting dogs as we prefer them not to be in the house. Safe travels and I do hope you enjoy the place. I do. We ask that you run the washing machine on your last morning. Also, despite the pet fee ($40) we need everyone to tidy up after their pets. The non pet guests will agree! I live catty corner. Remember-it’s worth repeating-the dog is friendly but barks at night at coyotes, the Wi-Fi is not the strongest you have ever used and the house is not 100% finished with updates. Has new carpet, refrigerator, vinyl, paint, furniture, curtains, room darkening shades and wood floors. Pets are welcome. I will check with you and add a $40 charge. (Alteration) Hunters will only pay $250-300 extra per night via an alteration (not per person). Hunters: please do not arrive prior to the designated check-in time. I’ll show you where to hunt the next morning. I have a short, simple waiver for the DIY hunts. And, as always, check state laws. Turkey, deer, pheasant, quail, fishing, coyotes, mushrooms, shed hunting. All encouraged. I'm a farmer/hunter and will get you set up. Fee includes written permission to hunt. I farm 3500 no-till acres. THIS IS A GREAT DEAL, YES! I will modify your reservation if you are coming for DIY hunts. Price will be sent to you via the platform. Hunting reservations are nonrefundable once the trip is underway. (blocks other hunters) If traveling with a pet/animal let me know, there is a fee (up to $40, one time fee per stay). Yes you can bring your side-by-side and your cousin Bob. We do ask that you keep hunting dogs outside, perhaps, in the 1st/smaller garage stall to the south. We can bring yoga mats to you and go for an hour or so. By donation There are two smart televisions but no cable. Note- the building across the street is not a church. It’s an old one room school house. West and adjacent to the house some distance you might notice a machine shed where occasionally I might have a day traveler simply camping (couple times a year, rare).
