Beth's Place to Stay in Potsdam - On the River

*2 Miles from SUNY Potsdam Vaccination Site* Beth's Place is completely private and located on the first level of our home. It features a bedroom with a comfy queen size bed, a spacious living room with a queen size sleeper sofa, a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal including a stove and medium-size refrigerator, dishes, silverware, baking dishes, cookie sheets as well as a dining area and even a gas grill for outside cooking. Beth's Place also has a lovely full bath with towels, wash clothes, and your basic toiletries, a completely private entrance and ample parking. We can also set up two twin size beds so we accommodate 6 people pretty comfortably. There is also a washer and dryer right in the unit for our guest to use. Our guest will have two private outside spaces all to themselves. One out front facing the putting green and one outback with a grill and hot tub and river view. The igloo is out back as well. Please note, the igloo is shared with our other unit. We have another bed and breakfast on our property if you were looking for different dates or to accommodate more people. It's called Beth's Place II. We follow VRBO's enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: o I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob o I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination o I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists o I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay o I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines We have a small dog that reside on the upper 2 floors of the house. He is usually very quiet but does occasionally bark for a moment to let us know that someone has arrived. Our property is pretty nice too! You can follow our trail right down to the Raquette river where you will find a row boat, kayaks and fire pit to enjoy. Kayaking is only available until mid Nov or so depending on the weather. We cover the putting green for the winter once it starts to snow.
