Beautiful Apartment in Historic District

Beautiful, light-filled apartment in a convenient downtown location. The main space is a large studio consisting of a dining area, living room and a bedroom. The space is great for singles, couples and families. For families and groups traveling together , please note that the queen size bed is part of the open studio space. The entire space has been recently refurbished. It features high ceilings, hardwood floors and tons of natural light. Located on the second floor of a historic building in downtown Fort Madison, the space is bright, cheerful and recently remodeled with tons of character and charm. The large L-shaped studio space has southern and western light that remains bright, even on cloudy days. The fully stocked kitchen allows guests to cook an entire meal. Coffee and tea are available for all guests. Guests should note that there are 18 steps leading to the apartment. I'm available by phone. A caretaker can assist if anything is needed during the stay. The apartment is located within easy walking distance of several restaurants: diners, pizza, American, Japanese, Chinese, a brew pub, wine bar, as well as a coffee shop, soda fountain, toy store, movie theater, various shops and antique stores. Plentiful parking is available on the street in front of the building. There is no TV in the apartment. When we stay, we bring an iPad. We use this space when visiting family. We are a gay couple with two kids. If that bothers you, please do not rent this space. Absolutely no drugs or parties.
