Located just 40 minutes west of Philadelphia and 1 hour north of Baltimore you'll have easy access to best of the cities while relaxing in living history. The Space: Every detail has been thought of and you can relax while enjoying all of the upgrades in our historic carriage home. From the hardwood floors to the luxury bathroom with heated tile flooring, the built-in workspace, to the fully stocked kitchen which will support any chef's needs, only the best finishes have been used. Sink into the comfy beds with soft linens. Lounge on the sofa and enjoy a movie. Or stroll into town and part take in one of our incredible breweries, pizza joints, award-wining resturants or a simple diner. It's all in walking distance. If you want a weekend to check out craft breweries, or local vineyards, several are avaiable all within a short drive. Or step into history and check out Brandywine River Museum or a famous DuPont mansion like Winterthur or Nemours. And don't miss out on world renowned Longwood Gardens with their incredible gardens, fountains and historic home. Kennett Square was voted Coolest Small Town in America by Conde Nast Travel. Come check it out for yourself. FYI: The bathroom is accessed through the bedrooms. Each bedroom has it's own door to the bathroom. Dedicated, high-speed internet, flat-panel TVs and more. Getting Around: Plenty of options within walking distance. Biking and hiking trails closeby. Or step into history and visit the Brandywine Battlefield. Want to visit an Amish Farm, you can with just a short 30 minute drive. So much to do you'll run out of time. Other Things to Note: The full bath is a "jack and jill" bath meaning that it is accessed through the bedrooms. Anyone staying on the sofa bed will need to access the bathroom through a bedroom. A pack and play is available for infants. Interaction with Guests: We live in the home next door and are here to help make the most of your stay.
