The Hidden Hemlock Cottage

The Hidden Hemlock Cottage is spacious and yet filled with coziness. Outside there is a large back deck and wooded area, while the front has a great porch and lawn. Inside is open concept, with a modern kitchen, a large dining table and two sitting areas, one with a fireplace. The bedrooms are roomy and have space enough for you to feel at home. We are a 5 minute walk to the beach and hiking trails of the provincial park. Inverhuron is the quintessential cottage location. The cottage is hidden away like a secret garden, the perfect place to retreat to. When you’re ready to emerge you’re close to the beach, trails and kids park. A short walk will take you to the new fish n’ chips joint, Fin’s. And if you want more action, then Kincardine is only an easy 10 min drive away. There are amazing restaurants, shops, paddle board and surf rentals, the theatre, farmers markets and more to keep you busy. The entire cottage and yard is yours for your stay. We live close by so we will be available if needed. Inverhuron is a quiet cottage community located on Lake Huron, a real hidden treasure. As soon as you step out of your vehicle and breath in the sweet cedar filled air your shoulders will relax and you’ll understand what I mean. If touring around Inver, walking or biking is ideal. It allows you to take in the small cottage roads and enjoy the laid back life. There will be 2 adult bikes available for your use. Please be kind and take of the bikes. If you would like to visit neighbouring towns, Kincardine (21 km) or Port Elgin (28 km) then a car is your best bet. ***IMPORTANT*** If set check-in and out days (Sunday) do not work for you please contact us as we can be flexible with them. Please leave cottage tidy on departure. Dishes washed and sitting to dry is fine. Dishwasher emptied, beds stripped, counters wiped down, bathrooms wiped down. Floors swept if messes have been made. Garbage from cottage taken out to the bin behind the bunkie.
