Beautiful Bungalow, Near Downtown Chicago

Beautiful, cozy, vintage home in a centrally located quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown Chicago, O'Hare and Midway Airports as well as many attractions, museums and great places to eat. This home includes High Speed Wifi, Full Kitchen, Full washer/dryer, tv's with streaming and a game loft full of board games and game consoles for all guests to enjoy. Contactless check-in and check-out with keyless entry. 3 Bedrooms, 4 queen beds, 1.5 baths. Sleeps 8 guests total. This home was built in 1942. The hardwood floors are gorgeous all-original as well as the built-in curio cabinet in the kitchen which gives the home a very unique, cozy, vintage feel. The home also has a very unique family "game loft" for all ages. Equipped with a 43 inch HD TV and lots of games included from Monopoly, Jenga, Battleship, and playing cards to Nintendo Wii and an XBox 1 with "Grand Theft Auto Vice City". If half the group or family are playing games in the game loft, the other half could be snuggled up watching a movie or playing Wii on the 50 inch HD TV with Netflix in the living area on the first floor. This home has something to offer every single guest when it comes to entertainment and all the amenities to go with it such as our stocked full kitchen and full washer dryer. This home will feel like home sweet home. The guests are free to access and utilize the entire home less the area in the basement next to the laundry room which is clearly marked and used by the owner for storage. We ask that you kindly not enter the marked area however don't hesitate to use the full washer/dryer (detergent and fabric sheets included) to wash clothes and unpack with ease at home. I will not bother the guests unless absolutely necessary or upon request. I like to be completely accessible to guests if needed as I do live close by. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, has lots of great places to eat nearby, easy access to the airports and downtown Chicago. One of my favorite places to grab a pizza (Benny's) is walking distance. 1 mile from The Legendary Fitzgerald's Music Venue, 1 mile to McNeal Hospital, 1 mile to the "Route 66 Museum", 2 miles to North Riverside historic downtown and train station, 4 miles to the Hawthorne Horse Racetrack, 5 miles to Toyota Park, 5 miles from Brookfield Zoo, 7 miles to Midway Airport, 15 miles to O'Hare Airport, 7 miles to city limits, and 12 miles to downtown Chicago. Uber and Lyft is the easiest way to commute in the area and always plenty running. Bus Stops are within walking distance and the train station is within a mile which will take you straight into downtown Chicago. If you are driving a personal vehicle or a rental vehicle there is free parking on the street however, guests MUST pay close attention to the street signs. Tuesdays guests MUST park on the side where the house is located 9am to 4pm and Wednesdays guests MUST park across the street 9am to 4pm. Major highway access includes 43, 55, 88, and 290. PLEASE NOTE: This is an older constructed home. The ceilings are crowned on the second floor which makes for a lower clearance so please watch your head if you are a taller individual. The stairs are also somewhat steep so please watch your step going down and up. This home is not handicap accessible and requires walking up a small set of stairs upon entrance or exit.
