Catskills Cape, 1940’s Charmer- Roscoe

If you're looking for a place to escape the chaos of the city, where you can relax with loved ones in peace, then our house in Roscoe is the place for you. Our kid-friendly home features: a wood stove, a large yard, fully equipped kitchen, reading nook, grill, two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, a fold-out couch, two bathrooms, front porch and two driveways. The comfortable living room features a wood stove, great for chilly upstate nights, and the dining room is set up for long meals with your friends and family. The bedroom upstairs has an A-framed ceiling, queen-sized bed and a fold-out couch with full-sized bed. The bedroom downstairs has a queen sized bed. Both bedrooms have AC window units. There are also window fans. The downstairs bathroom has a full-sized bathtub. The upstairs bathroom is recently renovated with spa-style waterfall shower. There is an upstairs reading nook perfect for a cozy afternoon or overnight campout for younger ones. There is a child sized couch with small fold out bed in the reading nook. Entire space Lockbox, self check-in On a small, residential loop with 15 vacation houses and cabins in the Catskills. Right off the highway for easy access from NYC, NJ and Philly. 1 hr, 45 min from George Washington Bridge. Situated near Willowemoc Creek and Beaverkill River, Roscoe is a charming hamlet in the Catskills, lovingly dubbed "Trout Town USA". It is known for fly-fishing, scenic landscapes, and beautiful river views. From our house, drive 3 minutes to Roscoe's downtown area, which has everything you may need for the perfect upstate getaway: a well-stocked liquor and wine store, a natural products health store, a convenience store, a fishing supply store, bank, firehouse, and many charming restaurants. Some local attractions also include the weekend farmers market, The Junction, Wemoc, Northern Farmhouse Pasta, several pottery studios, covered bridges, ample hiking and an alpaca ranch. Visit the renowned Prohibition Distillery and Tasting Room, home of the award-winning Bootlegger vodka. Roscoe Beer Co Brewery has an indoor and outdoor seasonal restaurant. Visit the "World Famous” Roscoe Diner down the road. Built in 1962, this colorful local diner also has an ice-cream shop next door complete with Tesla charging stations. Main street of Livingston Manor is 9 minutes away. Our favorite spots include the Kaatskeller Restaurant, Walk-in Cafe, Upward Brewing Co, Debruce Restaurant, Catskill Brewery, Main Street Farm, Nest Homegoods, and Morgan Outdoor Supply. Pecks Grocery in Livingston Manor is well-stocked. A larger box-grocery store Shoprite in Liberty is 15 minutes away. Close proximity to Bethel -Woods Center for Arts (Historic Site of the 1969 Woodstock Music festival). Nearby attractions include Villa Roma Resorts, Resort World Casino, Kartrite Resort and Water park, Beaverkill State Park and Holiday Mountain Ski resort. Car is necessary. Although we are close to the highway exit, you may find that 4-wheel drive is better in heavy snow given the ascent up the street. The road is plowed regularly. Window fans and window ACs for warmer months. Usually not necessary until mid-June in this higher elevation.
