Historic Himrod Eagle House

This beautiful, recently renovated home is located right next to the historic (1861) Himrod Eagle. Less than a mile from Rt. 14 and dozens of wineries and breweries on the West side of Seneca Lake. Our home is cozy and has every amenity you could ever need to have a relaxing and fun Finger Lakes Getaway! An easy drive to hiking, biking, Seneca Lake and Watkins Glen International. It doesn't get more convenient! Tastefully renovated in the last 5 years, our home is cozy, spacious and has every amenity you could need. Our home has a large, fully equipped kitchen for your use. The living room has a smart tv and a sleeper sofa if needed. The two bedrooms are located upstairs, along with half bath. There is a full bath with a beautiful walk in shower downstairs. Wifi and coffee will also be provided. There is plenty of off street parking. The driveway is somewhat hidden, so be sure to look for the reflectors at the base so you don't miss it. We are available if anything is needed! We may not be there to greet you when you check in, but we can always be reached through the Airbnb app, and will respond promptly if you have any questions or concerns. Literally, right next door to the Himrod Eagle. The neighborhood is quiet and generally peaceful. You'll see horse and buggies and the occasional train. We are minutes away from many Seneca Lake wineries, and centrally located between Watkins Glen, Penn Yan and Geneva. If you plan to do winery tours and would prefer to have someone else do the driving, there are several options available to you. Keuka Taxi has a "tour" option where they stay with you for the day. Main Street Drivers provide a driver to drive you in YOUR vehicle. Finger Lakes DD does the same. Don't plan to rely on LYFT or UBER in the Finger Lakes as we don't currently have the driver coverage.
