Golf course, marina, ferry, galleries, restaurants, grocery, live music, bike, moped and kayak rentals, museum, beaches, and hiking trails. Charter a sunset sail. The condo is only 1.5 blocks from the Ferry Landing and only 1/2 block from Lake Superior which can be seen from the large picture window in the living room. Being so close to the ferry landing means you don't have to bring your car over if you don't need to! You are surrounded by shops, galleries and restaurants allowing you to walk everywhere at your leisure! Mission Hill Coffee Shop is right below so you can meander down each day for a fresh pastry or sandwich to order. The Madeline Island Chamber of Commerce offers a wealth of information from ferry schedules to weekly events, things to do, business listings, and info on the Town Park and the State Park. The Chamber has daily updates of which businesses are open/close/hours/covid restrictions. PLEASE CONTACT ALL BUSINESSES PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL to make sure they can accommodate the activities that are of interest to you. Some are closed, some have very specific restrictions. All your bed linens, fluffy bath towels and beach towels are included along with cooking utensils, dishes and glassware. Kitchen items such as coffee filters, basic spices, and products like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, waste bags are provided. Just bring your suitcase and favorite toiletries! The AMENITIES section directly below gives detailed information about the condo. COVID-19 CLEANING: Be assured that we still take your well-being seriously. Following the Hospitality Industry Recommendations all bedding including pillow covers, blankets and duvet covers are washed after each guest. All surfaces are disinfected after a thorough cleaning. Check-in times will be a bit later in the day and check-out will be a little earlier to allow for extra cleaning. We can all work together on this! BOOKING PROCEDURES: Please check the CALENDAR FOR AVAILABILITY. My listed rate includes local taxes, credit card service fees, and cleaning fees. Your 50% deposit secures your reservation. You will receive email notices of your payments and will receive a reminder email for your final payment about 3 weeks before your check-in date. Your balance is due prior to your arrival. Once I have received the balance I will email your Confirmation Letter that includes the address, directions from the ferry landing and the Keyless Door Code, along with parking information, some general information and the web link for the ferry schedule.
