Little bit of Country

This space is in our walkout basement. It has its own entrance and no shared common space. We live in the upstairs but won’t be bothering you and may not even be there at all. We will be available in case of a problem. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the back patio in a rocking chair with your favorite beverage and watch for wildlife in the yard. The space was just recently totally remodeled and made to be easily accessible to those with limited mobility. It is all on one level with no steps. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs. The bathroom has a chair height toilet and a large shower with a bench seat. The floor plan is open space and all doors are 36” wide. We live on a dead end country road, but are only 4 miles from the town of Wellsboro and 1 mile from the entrance to the Tioga Rail Trail. It’s a short drive to the PA Grand Canyon. If you love the outdoors this is the place for you. I was born and raised here and I love my hometown. Feel free to reach out for recommendations. Guests will have the walkout basement apartment space completely to themselves. They have access to the back patio overlooking the back yard which will be equipped with rocking chairs, barbecue grill and patio table. There is a fire pit in the backyard that guests may use as well. Plenty of parking available in designated area of driveway. We will provide code to the entrance door before your planned arrival. We like to give guests privacy. This is our home, so you may run into us outside. We love meeting and conversing with people, if that is your style. If not we will kindly say hello and be of no bother. We are always available by phone at the very least. We are in a quiet country neighborhood on a dead end road. Wildlife such as deer, bear, fox etc frequent our backyard. We are 4 miles from the historic downtown of Wellsboro PA and 1 mile from the Tioga County Rail Trail. It is only a short drive to the PA Grand Canyon. If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you. Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Hunting, Boating, Kayaking and the list goes on. Check out the website (Website hidden by Airbnb) This is a small town area so there is not a lot of public transportation as far as Uber, bus etc. There is a small taxi service in town. We are 4 miles from town. We do have two twin air mattresses that we could set up in the living area if more bed space is needed. There is plenty of room in the living room for it to be out of the way. We would need to know this ahead of time.
