This private guest space is part of a larger owner-built home that is in process of restoration and repair. It includes a large bedroom, bathroom with tub and washing machine, open plan living/dining room, and fully equipped kitchen. Indoors, the space is cool and quiet. Outdoors, a stone terrace with a barbecue is available for your use. Forest House is found at the end of a 1/4 mile long, unpaved driveway. There is ample outdoor parking near the house. Our Guest Information Book provides many suggestions for local services and points of interest. Family members live nearby and are available on call. Family members or workers may be busy in parts of the house or on the land during your stay. This 45-acre forested property is located on a quiet residential country road in central Duchess County, NY. There is no nearby public transportation -- you will need your own car for this destination.
