Welcome to the Lake View Loft! The loft is a spacious studio with private lakeview balcony, located just 5 minutes from Lake Norman State Park. Spend your time swimming or kayaking off the shared dock, hiking in the state park or relaxing with a glass of wine! Just 45 minutes from Charlotte, the Lake View Loft is the perfect getaway for a couple or solo traveler. (Max 2 travelers, children not permitted). Important Things to Know Before You Book: -1-2 adults only (25+), there are stairs leading up to the loft. -The dock is shared with us, we look forward to meeting you! -All guests swim & use kayaks at their own risk. Life jackets are provided. It is our goal for our guests to see the love we put into the Lake View Loft, with its simple, stylish decor & thoughtful touches. The area offers so much for a romantic getaway or a solo retreat in a beautiful natural setting. KITCHENETTE Fridge/Freezer, Microwave & Coffee Pot available. Brita in fridge. Dishes, mugs, utensils & glassware for use in loft. Plastic tumblers for use on dock. LIVING AREA: Roku TV (bring your own sign-in credentials) for streaming. Enjoy views of the lake from the couch! SLEEPING AREA: King size bed with hypoallergenic bedding, clothing rack & luggage racks. BATHROOM: Spacious with shower/tub combo. PRIVATE BALCONY: Open the double doors to your private balcony with views of the lake (catch the sunrise!) SHARED DOCK: Guests have access to a shared dock. Kayak & life jackets are available, all guests swim at their own risk. The dock features several sitting areas, perfect for sunbathing or enjoying dinner by the water! HOW CLOSE? Lake Norman State Park: 5 minutes Daveste Vineyard: 10 minutes Charlotte: 45 minutes Statesville: 15 minutes Mooresville: 15 minutes LOCATION: The Lake View Loft is located in Troutman, NC on the northern end of Lake Norman. It's located in a quiet cove, so you won't have to deal with boats flying by you as you swim! We have parking space for one car We live onsite in the main house. You'll see lots of trees, hear the birds & maybe even spot a deer or two! Since our loft is above our garage you may hear the garage door opening in the mornings. I try not to open it before 8am.
