This charming old farmhouse has been newly updated and sits on a working farm with idylic views of a pond, beautiful barn, fields, and farm life right outside it's large windows! Situated in the peaceful countryside, the property is less than 10 minutes to the nearest town with grocery store, restaurants, shops, live theatre and sites. It’s 15 minutes from various popular walking and biking trails. It is 45 minutes drive from Notre Dame and 1 hr. 10 min. drive to various beaches along the shore of Lake Michigan. Enjoy your morning coffee at the kitchen table or on the patio, both overlooking a peaceful pond. In the winter, cozy up to a warm fire in the indoor wood stove! In the summer or fall enjoy the outdoors with a fire under a starry sky in the fire pit by the pond. The house includes everything you need to be at home including a full kitchen with a dishwasher, washer, dryer, wifi, and tv with streaming capabilities. The main level bedroom has a queen sized bed, while the upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, and a landing on the second floor has a double. There are two bathrooms on the main level, one with a tub/shower and one with a standing shower. Upstairs, children are delighted at the little Kid’s Cubby, the perfect size for them with toys. **This is a working farm with cows, chickens, and a friendly farm dog. The house itself is situated beside a main farmhouse which is occupied by the farmer and his wife. There will be farm activity going on outside the main house, but this house is completely separate and has its own drive and parking. *Because of the steep stairway, woodstove, and pond, the house is not conducive to toddlers or very young children not able to navigate these things.
