Welcome to Grayton Manor on Detroit’s East Side!

Recently renovated colonial on Detroit’s east side. Safe/quiet neighborhood. 2 bedrooms available to rent plus the living room. Owner lives on premises. No parties! Downstairs bed/bath is private. Upstairs bed/bath is semi-private. The living room has a pullout sofa & the couch can serve as another space to sleep. Owner’s bedroom is off limits. You’ll have a great companion! Lucy is a great-mannered blue heeler. She barks a little, roams the house, but mostly chills in her room. Start with the downstairs private bedroom/bathroom, additional guests can get the upstairs semi-private bedroom/bathroom. Some have stayed on the pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Your group can get all three if needed! My place is clean and ready for guests. Guests have access to the whole house except for owner’s bedroom and basement. If you need laundry, please ask ahead of time. There may be someone staying in the basement. I’m open and available. I do work and will be in and out, not a typical work schedule. I travel frequently. I’m also a good tour guide and can give you ideas of what to see around Detroit and where to go. Lucy will keep you company. Most of the time she just chills. She will bark when you come through the front door, but she’ll settle down. She easily pacified by treats found in the kitchen counter next to the sink. Other guests may be staying in the house. East English Village. A historic neighborhood adjacent to Grosse Pointe. Quiet and safe. Plenty of amenities on Mack Avenue north and south of the neighborhood. Bus and ride-share are available. If needed, let me know how I can help with transportation. 35 min ride from airport. 20 min ride from downtown. Close to freeways. Once on 94, you have access to all other freeways. Great bars, restaurants, shops and more off of Mack. The Grosse Pointes have great downtown areas, as well. Check out Belle Isle, Campus Martius, Midtown, Corktown and more when visiting Detroit. 35 min ride from airport. 20 min ride from downtown.
