The Harbor House: Waterfront Home 1 hour from NYC

Welcome to the beach and Long Island's Gold Coast! Unwind at this beautiful waterfront home. Enjoy stunning bay views from the deck and from inside the house. Look at the sky and you may spot the bald eagle family that lives around the corner. Although restaurants and attractions are only a five minute drive away, the area is peaceful and surrounded by nature. We have thoughtfully decorated it with our own artwork and pieces from our travels around the world. It is perfect for a romantic couple's getaway. With the pull-out couch in the living room, it can be set up for a maximum of four people who don't mind sharing an open-plan space. The house is not "child-proofed". The upper deck is set up with a table and chairs for having dinner or a barbeque outside. The property has two houses, and the lower deck is shared to give both houses access to the water. The lower deck is shared to give both houses access to the water, and the upper deck (right outside the glass sliding doors) is just for you, and it has a dining table and chairs for lovely outdoor meals. Permit number #P210727 The Gold Coast of Long Island boasts numerous grand mansions that are straight out of the pages of The Great Gatsby. You can still visit many of them today. The Vanderbilt Mansion Museum and Planetarium is only ten minutes away. We are also close to beautiful Del Vino Vineyards, Richter's Apple & Peach Orchard, and Caumsett State Park Reserve. Nearby you can book a sailboat cruise and rent kayaks and paddle boards. We have one parking spot reserved for our guests in our driveway. We are a fifteen minute drive from the Huntington LIRR Station. It is convenient to have a car here to visit the sites and restaurants, but Uber and Lyft operate here as well as local taxi companies.
