Charming Cottage Getaway on the Lake

This waterfront property has a cozy cottage with adjacent bunkie at the top of the hill, overlooking sparkling Mountain Lake and a lake house by the water. Sunday to Sunday WEEKLY bookings only for HIGH season (June 28th - September 6th). 3-night minimum for all other dates. The 165 FT water frontage allows for various group activities both next to and in the water, which is clear, warm and the shallow shoreline is great for all types of swimming or basking in the sun. At the top of the hill, there is a cabin with a separate entrance next to the main cottage, further adding to the sleeping room options and hangout spots. There are two barbeques, one on the terrace of the main cottage and one by the lake house. Additionally, there is a wood-burning stove and an outdoor shower just steps away from the lake. The main kitchen is fully equipped and you will find a kitchenette in the lake house for your convenience when you are hanging out by the water. Whether you choose to cook and have your meals by the lake or while enjoying the views from the top, you can easily travel back and forth with a cable car so you do not have to walk up and down the hill. If you are lucky to have a clear night, you can also enjoy some incredible stargazing off the dock or while roasting marshmallows around the fire. On a cooler day or night, you can always warm up in the sauna. No matter the time of year or length of stay, there are plenty of options for peace, relaxation and spending some quality time with friends and family. The town of Minden is a 3-minute drive from the cottage, allowing easy access to grocery stores, the Kawartha Dairy ice cream shop, Boshkung Brewery, LCBO, Beer Store, Tim Horton's, gas stations and much more that our beautiful small town has to offer. Please note, the cable car must be used responsibly and operated with great care. Arms and legs must be completely in the car and riders must be seated at all times as there is a strong shake at the start and end of each ride.
