Green Cottage Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' The easy charm of Bar Harbor is on display at Green Cottage, an inviting, light-filled home that sits within easy walking distance of downtown's wonderful restaurants, cafes, shops, and oceanfront path. In this lovely spot, you can easily enjoy all that Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and Mount Desert Island have to offer - while blissfully escaping the tourist crowds. Step inside to find a single-level living space with large windows throughout, anchored by a comfortable living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a flatscreen TV to gather around each evening. You can prepare meals together in the full kitchen (complete with a gas range and a dishwasher for easy clean-up) and sit down to eat in the beautiful sunroom, where large, screened windows fill the space with fragrant ocean breezes. You can also dine outside on the patio, where a gas grill awaits your afternoon barbecues and an umbrella shades the table from the summer sun. At night, you'll have your choice of four bedrooms - two with a queen-size bed apiece, one with a twin bed, and a newly renovated fourth bedroom with a set of twin bunks. What's nearby: This home sits near the edge of Glen Mary Park in the southwest corner of Bar Harbor, with the heart of downtown only half a mile north. You'll be able to walk to a number of excellent restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops, boutiques, and the oceanfront walking path that traces the town's shoreline. The entrance to Acadia National Park - and an access point to the Park Loop Road - is less than two miles west, allowing you to easily reach the Cadillac Mountain North Ridge Trailhead, Eagle Lake, and other park landmarks. Things to know: High-speed WiFi Full kitchen Parking notes: Please park in the driveway. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
