Current River Cottages #1 (The Big House)

Come spend your weekend in this cute 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage that can sleep up to 5 people. If there is just a couple/two during off season please contact me for a discounted price. Conveniently located across from Big Spring RV Camp, where you can rent inner tubes and be transported on the Current River, contact them for transportation of your personal kayaks. Also one mile away is The Landing for the best steaks in Van Buren and another outfitter for transportation needs on the Current River. We are only a couple miles from public river access in town and less than 5 miles to Big Spring National Park. Less than a mile from Godfather’s pizza and other night time entertainment all the while located in a quiet neighborhood. The inside of the cottage has been renovated and we have a 12 ft x16 ft pavilion that with outdoor lighting and a charcoal BBQ grill. There is a total of 3 cottages on the property. When all the cottages have finished remodeling, cottage number 1 and 3 will share the pavilion while cottage number 2 will have it’s own porch with a sitting area and gas BBQ grill. I will be available by phone or text, I do not live in the area full time but have our own cabin about 5 miles away so if we are in town we are happy to assist with any questions. One mile for the Landing. Across the road from Big Spring RV Camp 5 miles from Big Spring State Park Watercress is another gravel bar only a few miles away. Less than a mile is Carbi’s for your night time entertainment. They also serve food. Godfather’s is available for pick up, less than a mile away. Unfortunately we do not have river access. But there is public access across Highway 60 bridge in town, less than 2 miles away. You can also access a public gravel bar at Watercress Recreational area in town along with Big Spring Park. Right across the street is Big Spring RV Camp for your floating needs along with the Landing one mile away.
