Located centrally in the small town of Star, we are minutes to Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, or Boise while nestled in a fun, country spot. Our 3 bedroom home (plus an office!) provides plenty of space for groups large or small. Come stay a while and check out what makes the Treasure Valley the fastest growing area in the US! Our light and airy home has plenty of space for groups both large and small. Featuring 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and an office, our home can sleep groups of up to 10 people. Drive up and be greeted by our big blue house. We ask that you take advantage of our 3 car garage to park in during your stay- please note the third bay is not an automatic door. Upon entering the house, head through the entry and walk into our oversized great room. The open concept kitchen, living, and dining room has space for your family to spread out for food, games, and fun. The living room has two sofas and two armchairs so everyone has a cozy spot to sit. In the winter, be sure to utilize our warm fireplace to keep out the Idaho winter chill! Enjoy our Roku TV where you can stream all your favorite shows. We also provide a DVD player! Our dining space seats six and has a door leading to the backyard off the back. There is another leaf for the table in the coat closet and four more chairs in the garage, to expand to seat 10. The kitchen is well-stocked with the basics you need for cooking, such as pots, pans, spices, knives, utensils, cutlery, and dishes. There is a coffee pot to wake you up in the morning and enough counter space to prepare large meals. We have all the necessary appliances such a full size fridge and freezer, ceramic stove top, range microwave, and dishwasher as well as small appliances such as an electric kettle and toaster. Off of the great room is our office space. There is a desk and comfy office chair so you can get some work done while away. A futon in the office provides additional sleeping space (twin size). Heading upstairs, the master suite features a luxurious king size bed. You are welcome to use our walk in closet to unpack during your stay. The master bath boasts dual sinks, a standing shower, and a deep soaker tub for relaxing! The second upstairs bedroom has a firm Queen size mattress with a topper. You can take the topper off if you prefer a more firm mattress, or leave it on if you prefer a softer feel. The third bedroom has full-over-full bunk bed with a trundle bed underneath, sleeping 5 in that room total (please note bunk bed weight restrictions under "other things to note"). There is another full bathroom with a shower/tub combo upstairs. We have two standing fans available for use in the upstairs bedrooms. Our oversized backyard is a beautiful place for the whole family to enjoy, particularly in the warmer months. We have provided an electric BBQ for you to use. We offer the following long term stay discounts: -10% for stays of 7+ days -15% for stays of 14+ days -20% for stays of 30+ days Discounts will automatically factor in to the prices shown on AirBnB. ★For Stays over 29 nights★ Please note that for stays exceeding 29 nights, Idaho law requires that we must obtain a lease from you before hosting your stay. Our company policy also dictates that stays exceeding 29 nights require an extra cleaning every 29 days. This will be billed at the cost of an additional cleaning fee. These extra cleanings help keep our home an enjoyable place for all renters and really help our cleaning crews at the time of checkout. Please keep these policies in mind if booking a long term stay. Guests have full access to everything shown in the pictures. There is one locked storage closet under the stairs for housekeeper use. The homeowner isn’t available, so the managers at Boise BnB Property Management will handle all the details of your stay and be your point of contact. They are available 10am-8 pm daily through the Airbnb app or after hours at their company number, provided upon check in. Our home is located in Star, Idaho, a suburb of the Boise area. While as recently as 5 years ago Star was mostly made of farmland, new housing developments and business have come to the sleepy town and it's become a much-desired place to live, work, and play. Despite the rapid growth, the town still retains much of its country charm, and the residents are friendly and eager to show off their space! Going further out into the Valley, the home is about 30 minutes from Boise and the Boise Airport. Eagle is the neighboring town and is about 15 mins away. Nampa and Meridian are both within 20 minutes. Got a college student coming with you? Northwest Nazarene University and the College of Idaho are both 12 miles away. Boise State University is 20 miles to the East. Nearby shopping, restaurant, and commerce centers include the Boise Towne Square Mall (20 mins), The Village at Meridian (24 minutes) and the Nampa Karcher Mall (24 mins). The Village and the Karcher Center both also have movie theaters. Beautiful wine country and vineyards are located all over Nampa and Caldwell, within 20 minutes drive. Downtown Boise, the Boise Whitewater Park, the Boise Zoo, Boise Art Museum, and more local attractions are all 20 minutes away. The Bogus Basin ski resort is about an hour from the home. No matter where you are headed in the Treasure Valley, this AirBnB is close by! There is limited public transport in the area, so this location is best enjoyed with the aid of a personal or rental vehicle. Please only park vehicles inside the garage (please note the third bay is not an automatic door). A garage door opener will be provided to you upon check in. Please be sure to return the garage door opener or there will be a charge to have a new one made. Please note the weight limit on the bunk bed: 175 lbs capacity for the top bunk and 300 lbs capacity on the bottom bunk. If putting 4 people in the bunk bed at once, it may be a better option for children rather than adults due to weight restrictions. If the bed is broken due to excess weight, the cost of the repair will be charged to the guest.
