River View Barn

Studio apartment with private entrance on the second floor of our carriage house on our 1.5 acre Bucks County property on the scenic Delaware River. We are about 5 minutes from I-95 and the Trenton Transit Center with trains to New York and Philadelphia. We are two miles from Yardley Borough, six miles to Sesame place and sixteen miles to Princeton NJ. With a full kitchen and bath and full size washer and dryer this apartment is perfect for extended stays. Guests are free to use our front and back yard and the table and chairs in the yard. Please close gate when you leave the yard. Sometimes our very friendly dog Patrick is in the yard. Guests are welcome to take veggies from the garden which is behind the yard through the back gate. Guests are provided with a key We have lots of space for parking The unit is up one flight of steps We live in the stone house across the driveway, so the Barn is separate. We both work but we are available upon reasonable notice to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We are close to the charming small towns of Yardley, New Hope and Lambertville. Princeton is also nearby, as is Washington Crossing State Park. Sesame place is about 10 minutes or less by car, and the Trenton train station is very close. Philadelphia and New York are easily accessible. I can provide rides to or from nearby locations at an additional fee and with advance notice. Having a car is best, and we have parking steps from the front door, but we are close to public transportation. Cyclists can enjoy the tow path of the Delaware Canal on the Pennsylvania side of the River or the Delaware and Raritan Canal on the New Jersey side. We have a very friendly dog named Patrick who is sometimes in the backyard, but if you are not a dog person let us know and we will make sure you don’t encounter him.
