The William

The William is a completely renovated and restored home. You will find refinished hardwood floors and new finishes; a charming fireplace and hearth (not used), and touches of old and new world throughout. This is a very functional house with a chef's kitchen and beautiful stainless steel appliances. The house offers comfy sheets, thick towels and beauty surrounding in this space to be with friends and family. There are extra spaces and nooks to take in the world or relax and breathe. The William is named after my son, and the touches in the house are inspired by a young man who is kind, compassionate and adventure seeking. He loves all things water and sky, so the blue is a nod to the wakeboarding, waterfall jumping, airplane flying and skydiving adventure spirit he has. But he is also reflective and a deep soul - find that inspiration in the nooks and extra spaces that allow you to breathe, think, and listen. We know you have a story too - let The William be the backdrop of some fun and relaxing memories for you! It is really our privilege to host you. We are glad you are here and enjoy your stay. We are very near the West Baden Springs And French Lick hotels - walking distance - where you can find loads of activities. There is golf, horseback riding and after the COVID restrictions release there are great restaurants at the hotels and spas. It is a wonderful place to recharge while having fun. In town there is also a go-kart place, pee-wee golf, indoor water park and lots of antique stores. There is so much to do in West Baden Springs-French Lick! The Patoka Lake is about 10m away - a beautiful, serene lake with lots of water activities. Holiday world is 45m away by car. Another fun place to visit. See our guidebook for more wonderful ideas. There are lots of places that are accessible within a walk, but you could also use your car to get around. If you have a bike, that is great too. We are in town, so everything is within close proximity. West Baden Springs is a town set against a hill, so if you are staying in the town you are likely on some kind of hill. The William is on a descending hill, so if walking hills is difficult for you, consider driving to your destinations.
